About Kelly...
Fitness with a Smile
Bringing 18 years of experience as a fitness trainer to the table
when she first discovered Nia, Kelly found it to be the most revolutionary and
profound way to find true health in body, mind, and spirit through movement. By
connecting to finding Joy in her movement, instead of the old "No pain, no
gain" theory of health and fitness, she herself has experience healing on all
levels.
She discovered that Nia brings fitness and body/mind/spirit healing together
naturally, in a playful manner, using the concept of "The Body's Way," where
all movements are natural to the body.
She also discovered that through the use of imagery, play, sensing the body,
and moving with the principle of finding the JOY of one's movement can open one
up to self-healing and health on all levels.
Kelly has a BS in Health & Wellness and is an ACE Certified Personal
Trainer and a Certified Pilates Instructor. She is now at the "Black Belt
Level" as a teacher of the Nia Technique.
